Zamir Gray, a seventh-grader at Lewis & Clark Middle School, shoots a photo of JC Champions Mentor Jake Vogel and his mentor of about four years Devon Bailey, also a seventh-grader at Lewis & Clark, during a celebratory bowling trip held for mentors and mentees. The trip was scheduled in celebration of a City Council proclamation by Mayor Carrie Tergin that January 14 would be known as “Be a Mentor Day.”
